A Troop Pathway Orientation will be held at the Holliston Library from 4 pm to 6 pm on Wednesday, August 10th. All new troop leaders are required to attend a Troop Pathway Orientation.

This orientation provides new troop volunteers with answers to the ten most frequently asked questions about starting a troop. You’ll learn about membership requirements, meeting locations, opening a troop checking account, involving girls’ families, filling out required paperwork, keeping girls safe, and planning the first three troop meetings. You will also learn about start-up costs and uniforms.

Other Troop Pathway Orientation sessions will be offered in September (Dedham) and October (Waltham), but new leaders should consider going to the August 10th orientation at the Holliston Library! It’s local and a great way of connecting with other Holliston Girl Scout volunteers.
